Twin Tiers Mini Maker Faire

From 10:00AM to 3:00PM

The Twin Tiers Mini Maker Faire is an event that celebrates arts, crafts, engineering, science and the DIY mindset. Part science fair, part county fair, and part something entirely new, Maker Faire is an all-ages gathering of tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, food artisans, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, artists, students, and commercial exhibitors. The Maker Faire is a venue for “makers” to show what they have made and to share what they have learned.

Featured exhibit will be an incredible sculpture built in the Mall’s Center Court by Airigami, the Fine Art of Folding Air.

Sponsored by the Chemung County Library District, Corning Community College, the Friends of CCLD, and the Southeast Steuben County Library.

Maker Faire originated in 2006 in the San Francisco Bay Area as a project of the editors of Make: magazine. It has since grown into a significant worldwide network of both flagship and independently-produced events. The Twin Tiers Mini Maker Faire is independently organized and operated under license from Maker Media, Inc. Interested “Makers” can apply on the website to participate. Deadline is March 3.
